Hector J. St. Onge

Methuen - Hector J. St. Onge, 86, a longtime resident of Methuen, died Tuesday evening, March 20, 2007, in a local nursing home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Claire B. (LeQuin) St. Onge, with whom he celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2006.
Born in Lowell on February 26, 1921, he was a son of the late Ubald and Beatrice (Tessier) St. Onge.
Mr. St. Onge served with the United States Army during World War II.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. St. Onge managed the St. Onge Hardware Store in Dracut, MA.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Methuen.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Dolores Conley of Lawrence and Diane Rudis and her husband Allen of Methuen; five sons, Robert St. Onge and his wife Peggy of Windham, NH, Richard St. Onge and his wife Mary of Methuen, Donald St. Onge and his wife Sharon of Windham, NH, Paul St. Onge and his wife Irene of Salem, NH and Daniel St. Onge and his wife Candace of Methuen; a brother, Bob St. Onge and his wife Gertrude of Dracut; four sisters, Yvonne Troisi of Tewksbury, Rita Underwood, Maria Hodge and Jeannette Delisle, all of Lowell; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Florence Desrochers.
