Harvey R. Massicotte

Harvey R. Massicotte, 92, husband of the late Lillian C. (Matteau) Massicotte, died Tuesday June 13, 2006 at a local nursing home in Lowell following a brief illness.
He was born in Lowell on January 7, 1914, a son of the late Joseph and Blanche (Pronovost) Massicotte.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Massicotte was employed as a crane operator by Ralph Betty Scrap Metal of Lowell.
He was a former communicant of Ste. Marie's Church in South Lowell.
He is survived by a daughter, Lucille Gilchrest and her husband Robert of No.Waterboro, ME; three sons, Robert Massicotte and his wife Lynne of OH, Paul Massicotte and his wife Joan of AZ and William Massicotte and his wife Karen of MO; Four brothers, Leo Massicotte of FL, Louis Massicotte and his wife Eleanor of Lowell, Henry Massicotte and his wife Josie of FL and Maurice Massicotte of NH; five sisters, Rachel Vaillancourt of NH, Yvonne Arpin of NH, Doris Bourassa and her husband Roland of NH, Alice Roy of Tewksbury and Jeanne Lyons of NH; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Irene Boissonneault.
