Harvey J. Clement

Lowell - Harvey J. Clement, 85, husband of Marie A.B. "Bertha" (LeClair) Clement, with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage on February 14 of this year, died Sunday July 2, at his Belvidere residence.
He was born in Lowell on September 9, 1920, a son of the late Harvey and Aurora (Lapointe) Clement.
Mr. Clement was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a machinist for the former New Knit in Lowell and later as a power engineer at the former St. Joseph's Hospital in Lowell.
Mr. Clement enjoyed all types of fishing, but most of all he took pleasure in spending time with his family, especially attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
Surviving him besides his wife are a daughter and son in law, Shirley and Alfred Torrisi of TX and FL, formerly Methuen; a brother and sister in law, Victor "Russ" and Shirley Clement of Dracut; three sisters and a brother in law, Ruth and Maurice Mangas of Muncie, IN, Doris Bousquet of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jeannette Reavly of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Kristina Greco and her husband Christopher of FL, Brian Torrisi and his wife Kimberly of Needham; and four great grandchildren, Nicholas, Jonathan, and Matthew Greco and Ryan Clement Torrisi; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Raymond, and Leo Clement and Claire Gauthier.
