Harold V. Dupuis

Lowell- Harold V. Dupuis, 81, husband of Cecile R. (Jasmin) Dupuis with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage, a Centralville resident, died unexpectedly Sunday October 8, at the Lowell General Hospital.
A son of the late Nelson and Rose (Therrian) Dupuis, born in Lowell on December 15, 1924.
He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII. An avid hunter, Mr. Dupuis was a life member of the Tyngsboro Sportsman's Club. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Standard Thompson Corporation of Waltham as a supervisor in the thermostat research and development department.
Surviving him besides his wife are a daughter, Diane LaFontaine of Livermore, CA; a daughter in law, Jeanne Dupuis-Arsenault and her husband William of Lowell; three brothers and two sisters in law, Raymond and Susan Dupuis of FL, Frank Dupuis of FL, Ernest and Georgette Dupuis of Lowell; two sisters, Estelle D'Hondt of Lowell, Rosemarie Busby of Dracut; five grandchildren, Mark Dupuis and his wife Tammy, Timothy Dupuis, Christal LaFontaine, Derek LaFontaine, Nathan LaFontaine; two great grandchildren, Rylie and Aiden Dupuis; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Neil J. Dupuis, and brother of the late Russell Dupuis, Donald Dupuis, Doris Demange, and brother in law of the late Thomas Busby and Edward D'Hondt.
