Guy Anthony Ciccone fought a valiant 10 year battle with cancer. He won that battle on July 12, 2017. He won because in Heaven there is no cancer, no pain, no suffering. Guy chose to live. The way he lived and fought made people forget he had it. Guy was surrounded by his adored family. He was 58.
Born in Norwich, Connecticut on September 27, 1958, he was a son of the late Albert and Doretta (Lavoie) Ciccone.
Guy grew up in Norwich and graduated from Montville High School. He then attended and graduated from UCONN and went on to receive his Dr. of Chiropractic from the Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Guy moved to Massachusetts in 1984 and had been practicing Chiropractic since then. In 1985 he met the love of his life Patrice J. (Kleve) Ciccone and on July 1 they celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary.
Guy and Patrice established and operated Sound Marketing Systems for 22 years. He moved on to work with his friend Brad McCarthy at Trac Point, where he was the vice president of sales and development. He was a former member of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society and a practitioner and recipient of Tong Ren Healing.
Guy enjoyed golfing and running. He looked forward to walks in the woods and on the beach with his dog DC. Guy cherished coaching his children Derek and Christine's sports teams. He was an avid reader and had a passion for history that he passed on to Derek. Guy appreciated nature and relished the many birds in his backyard.
Above all it was about family and friends for Guy. He loved gatherings where he enjoyed food, banter and a little tequila. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle.
Surviving besides his wife Patrice and his children Derek and Christine are his sister and brother in law, Terese and Roland Arpin; his brothers and sisters in law, Frank and Cathy Ciccone, Steven and Arleen Ciccone; and many adoring nieces and nephews.
