DRACUT - Gladys S. (Sears) Flynn, 89, a resident of Dracut for over 50 years, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick K. Flynn, with whom she was married for 53 years.
She was born in Lowell on January 16, 1920, a daughter of the late Eben J. and Diana (Fox) Sears.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Flynn was employed by the Raytheon Corp. of South Lowell.
She was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Lowell.
She is survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John A. and Dorothy (Campbell) Flynn of Dracut, George M. Flynn of Tyngsboro, Virginia (Leblanc) Flynn of Seabrook, NH; several nieces and nephews, Diane Greenwood, Edward and Candace Sears, Evelyn and Thomas Cox, Michael and Charlene Flynn and Donna and Paul Forte; also 10 grandnieces and grandnephews. She was a sister of the late Edward D., E. Estelle and Anna M. Sears.
