Chelmsford- Gilberte (Masse) Perkins, 91, wife of the late Donald W. Perkins, a resident
of Chelmsford Crossings for over four years, where she leaves many dear friends died Tuesday July 4, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Lowell on August 6, 1914, a daughter of the late F.X. Ulderic Masse D.D.M and the late Rose (Goulet) Masse.
Mrs. Perkins was a graduate of Jeanne D'Arc Academy in Milton, MA.
For many years she worked for Rosebud Florist in Lawrence, Balsalm's in Tewksbury and the Harvest Gift Shop in Wilmington. She was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Andover.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl A. Corbett and her husband David of Tewksbury, Denise P. Roy and her husband Robert Jr. of Tyngsboro; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Phillips of Pensacola, FL; three grandchildren, Bradford Corbett of Brighton, Justin Corbett of Tewksbury and Ryan Roy of Tyngsboro; a cousin Rita Wojack of Waterbury, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Reginald Masse of Lowell and Louis H. Masse of No. Tewksbury.
