WILLIMANTIC, CT - Gertrude M. (Trudel)(Roux) Fournier, 85, a former resident of Fourth Avenue in Lowell, died Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the Windham Hospital in Willimantic, CT. She was the wife of the late Clarence E. Roux who died in 1966 and the late Joseph Fournier who died in 1980.
Born in Lowell on November 17, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Donat and Clara (Chevalier) Trudel.
She retired in 1980 from the Western Electric Company, Andover, MA.
While residing in Lowell she was a communicant of Ste. Jeanne d' Arc Church and held membership in the Pawtucketville Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by two sons, Edmond Roux and his wife Germaine of Westford and Donald Roux and his fianc�e Helen Therrien of Lebanon, CT; three sisters and their husbands, Dorothy and Raymond Beaulieu of Fl, Simone and Rene Proulx of Dracut and Beatrice and Roland Goulet of Tyngsboro; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Claire Pappas and William Trudel.
