DRACUT - Germaine (Bourassa) Gauthier, the beloved wife of Wilfred "Bill" Leduc, died on September 26, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was 84.
Germain was the second youngest of seven children born on January 14,1932 to Henri and Aurore (Neveu) Bourassa.
She attended St. Louis Academy and then worked as a stitcher for Lowell Lingerie and Hub Hosiery while putting herself through nursing school. Germain was a Licensed Practical Nurse working for various nursing homes, hospice care and the Lowell Visiting Nurse Association.
Germaine and Bill loved camping, especially at Lake George and Country Shore Campground in Plastow, NH.
She enjoyed polka dancing, roller skating, country music, but most of all she cherished her family. Germaine looked forward to the holidays when they were all together.
Surviving her besides the love of her life for the past 45 years are two sons, Alfred Gauthier of Lowell, Dennis Gauthier of Richmond, MN; five grandchildren, Holly Gauthier, Nicole Eineke, Dennis Gauthier, Jr., Andrew Gauthier, Kristine Pratt; thirteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jean Gauthier.
