Geraldine "Geri" E. Young

Lowell – Geraldine E. "Geri" (Hamm) Young, beloved wife of Robert J. Young, passed away on Tuesday March 6, 2012, at the Saints Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 66.
Geri was born in Lowell on April 25, 1945, a daughter of the late Adelbert E. and Frances E. "Betty" (Cooper) Hamm.
She was a lifelong resident of Lowell, living in the Centralville section for many years.
Geri was a member of the Centralville United Methodist Church. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a finishing operator for the 3M Corporation.
Surviving her besides her husband are son and daughter in law, David and Nidia Young of Lowell; two daughters and sons in law, Linda and David Soucy, Laurie and Dan Duchesne all of Dracut; a sister and brother in law, Judie and Ted Chittick of Lady Lake, FL; five grandchildren, Danielle and Brittany Soucy, Christopher and Jess Duchesne all of Dracut, Adam Young of Lowell; two nieces, Barbara Evans of Fruitland, FL, Debra Benafield of FL; a nephew Alex Ricciortti of FL. She was also the aunt of the late Diane Benafield.
