Georgette (St. Onge) Marchand

Georgette (St. Onge) Marchand, 85, a longtime Dracut resident died peacefully on Monday November 10, 2014 at D'Youville Senior Care. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell A. Marchand, Sr. who passed away in 2002.
Born in Dracut on February 22, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Matilda (Caisse) St. Onge.
For many years, Georgette was employed as a sales clerk by McCartney Clothing until her retirement in 1991. Throughout the course of her lifetime, Georgette enjoyed skiing, gardening and the theater. She was active in her community having been a member of the Dracut Senior Citizen's Club and the Chelmsford Garden Club. She also held membership in the D'Youville Manor Ladies Guild as well as the Lady Lions Club of Chelmsford.
Georgette is survived by her children, Russell A. Marchand, Jr. and his wife, Maureen of Dracut, Renee Connolly and her husband, Christopher of Hawaii, Michele O'Neil and her husband, James of Essex, Suzanne Donigan and her husband, Michael of Chelmsford; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Gertrude McKewen, Edmond St. Onge, George St. Onge, Lorette Marchand, Janet Boyle and Alfred St. Onge,.
