Georgette O. (Villandry) Gagne

Georgette O. (Villandry) Gagne, beloved wife of the late Leon R. Gagne, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017, at Northwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Lowell, MA following a courageous fight against Alzheimer's Disease. She was 81.
Born in Lowell on March 2, 1936, she was a daughter of the late William G. and Simonne (Turcotte) Villandry.
Georgette was a stay at home mom raising her family. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, making afghan blankets, slippers, and clothing for her family and friends.
In later years she was a member of the Lowell and Dracut Senior Citizen Centers.

Survivors include her two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol and William Hardy of Salem, NH, Joanne Stikeman of Lawrence; four grandchildren, Erin Curry and her husband Christopher, David Hardy and his wife Jolena, Thomas Stikeman, Joseph Stikeman; four great grandchildren, Grace, Layna, Landen, Teresa; a sister, Pauline Boudries of Dracut; a sister-in-law, Charlene Villandry of Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews. Georgette was the mother of the late Dennis Bistany and sister of the late Robert and Roland Villandry. She was also pre-deceased by her former husbands, Robert Bistany and Daniel Bunce.
