George Roy Milne

George Roy Milne, 79 of Lowell, Massachusetts passed away after a brief period of declining health. George was born on November 16, 1941, in Hammond, Indiana. He was the son of the late George Milne and Pauline (Golden) Milne.

As a young man, George roamed the country until settling in Lowell. Until retirement, George was employed as a general laborer in a variety of fields.

The one common interest that George shared with each of his four children was the love of music. George LOVED music! The Grateful Dead was his favorite band. He had an extensive collection of vinyl albums that he proudly displayed in his home. George also enjoyed playing pool.

George was an avid fan of The New England Patriots. He watched every game and was VERY spirited and passionate about his team!

George is survived by his four children, Teresa A. (Milne) Colon and her husband Julian Colon of Sanford, Maine, Joanne Milne-Wilkinson of Yucaipa, California, Geraldyne (Milne) Colon and her husband Jose Colon of Nashua, New Hampshire and Troy C. Milne and his wife Cynthia of Manchester, New Hampshire; his ex-wife Barbara Curran; his eleven grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; his three brothers, Donald Milne of Kentucky, Ronald Milne of Louisiana and David Milne of Arizona and his two sisters, Kathy Fotia of Indiana and Marilyn Phipps of Alabama.

George was predeceased by his sister, Paulette Amoozegar of Kentucky and his life partner Anastasia Starke.

To honor the wishes of the deceased, there were no services.
