George E. Martin

George E. Martin, 67, of Dracut, died Wednesday November 27, 2013 in Dracut. He was the beloved husband of Adrienne A. (Scorza) Martin of Dracut who has been his love for the past 40 years.
George was born in Lynn on December 7, 1945.
He was a research and development supervisor in the electronics and engineering field. Over the course of his career, he worked at Unitrode in Watertown and Microsemi in Chelmsford.
George was an avid hunter, primarily deer and moose, and looked forward to his yearly hunting trips with his friend, Russ. He was a true outdoorsman having grown up as an Eagle Scout. His Love of nature often brought him and his wife to Maine. He was always working on or repairing cars for himself and his friends as he was an accomplished mechanic. He also found joy in cooking. George was sensitive and kind, was a loving husband and will be missed by all who knew him. George was a member of the American Legion in Dracut and had many great times there over the years.
In addition to his wife, George is survived by close family members, including a sister, Janice Reardon of Lynn; a niece, Meghan Reardon of Winthrop; in- laws and many dear friends.
