George P. Desrosiers, the beloved husband of the late Constance I. (Brunet) Desrosiers, died at his Lowell residence on Sunday, May 15, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was 82.
George was born in Lowell on May 28, 1933, a son of the late Albert and Florence (Lemire) Desrosiers.
During his youth he lived and Dracut and attended the Dracut schools. When he married Constance on November 24, 1955, they moved to Lowell.
George was a Veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Army from 1953-1955.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a bricklayer. George's hobby was building and flying radio controlled airplanes.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Desrosiers and his wife Chandra of Pelham, NH, Paul of Lowell; two daughters, Suzanne DeSimone and her husband Francis of Hillsboro, NH, Diane Desrosiers of Waltham, two brothers, Norman and Robert Desrosiers; two grandsons; four granddaughters; six great granddaughters; two great grandsons. He was also the grandfather of the late Gerald Desrosiers.
