George L. Baxter, 64, a longtime Dracut resident, died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at his Dracut residence.
Born in Lowell on September 4, 1946, he was the son of Joseph J. and Jeannette T. (LaFontaine) Baxter.
George was employed by the Atlas News Co. of Worcester as a magazine distributor.
A lover of music, George was member of the Four Diamonds Band and was most recently an accordion and keyboard musician for the George Baxter Trio.
Survivors include a sister, Patricia G. Gagnon of Dracut; a niece, Lisa Kukulski of Dracut; a nephew, Scott J. Gagnon and his wife, Stephanie of Hudson, NH; great nieces and nephew; Brian J. Kukulski , MacKenzie L. Kukulski, Amber J. Gagnon, Ella M. Gagnon; a close friend, Judith Collins; and many dear friends.
