Gary E. Rosinski, 59, the beloved husband of Jane I. (Leczynski) Rosinski passed away on Saturday, August 24, at Brigham and Women's Hospital with his loving family and close friends by his side. Gary was the son of the late Edward F. Rosinski and Marlene (Paduchowski) Valhouli. He was born in Lawrence, educated in Haverhill, and graduated from New England Institute of Mortuary Science. Gary began his career in the funeral industry at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel in Brookline. Upon his father's death, Gary took on the responsibilities of managing The Rosinski Funeral Home in Haverhill. He was a dedicated, compassionate, and caring person who took pride in helping families during difficult times at various funeral homes throughout the Merrimack Valley. Most recently, Gary worked as a material handler for Raytheon. Gary had a great love of music, especially polka music. He played the drums in his family band, The Swinging Brass, along with his wife, son, and brother-in-law. Gary also loved animals, most especially his beloved puggle, Caleigh. One of his favorite pastimes was watching Animal Planet with his grandson, Joey. Gary was interested in classic cars, working in the yard, and traveling all over the country. In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Matthew E. Rosinski and LaToya Szymanski of Dracut; a daughter, Laura J. Tillson and her husband, Aric of Dracut; his grandchildren, Joseph and Emily Tillson of Dracut; his mother-in-law, Jane I. Leczynski of Dracut; a brother-in-law, Edward E. Leczynski Jr. and Sandra Walor of Lowell; a niece, Kasia Hatfield and her husband, Matt of Swampscott; his step-father, George Valhouli of Cape Canaveral, FL, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. He was the brother of the late Gail P. Rosinski and the son-in-law of the late Edward E. Leczynski Sr. whom he loved and admired.
