LEOMINSTER - Gary D. Dubuc, age 49, a resident of Leominster and former resident of Lowell died Friday, September 10, 2021 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, MA following a long courageous battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma. He was the beloved husband of Amy B. (Manseau) Dubuc, to whom he was married for 14 years.
He was born in Lowell on January 15, 1972, and was a son of Arthur W. and Ruth T. (Martin) Dubuc of Lowell. He received his education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1990.
Prior to his illness, Gary was employed for many years as a machine operator by Gate House Media in Auburn, MA. Earlier in his career he was employed for many years by The Lowell Sun, starting out as a paperboy, then a delivery driver, and finally as a machine operator.
He was an avid sports fan, especially the New England Patriots and he loved cats and music, especially Metallica.
Gary's greatest love was spending time in the company of his loving family.
He will be remembered for his giving spirit and the ability to make connections wherever he went.
In addition to his wife and parents, Gary is survived by his son Gary D. Dubuc, II of Leominster; his daughter, Shilo B. Dubuc of Gardner; three brothers, William Dubuc and his wife Colleen of Dracut, John Dubuc and his wife Sandra of Hudson,NH, and Ronald Dubuc and his wife Gretchen of Westford; a sister, Lisa Finnegan and her husband Daniel of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
It being his wish, there will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gary's Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Michael Church in Lowell on Saturday, September 18th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gary's memory to his family to help with medical expenses.
