Gabrielle L. Marquis

Gabrielle L. (Forest) Marquis, 89, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Saints Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Herve L. Marquis.
Born in Lowell on June 15, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Carpentier) Forest.
Mrs. Marquis was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School and was a communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Church.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond H. and Cynthia A. (Popielarski) Marquis of Lowell; a daughter and son-in-law, Lucille G. and John J. McNally of Tewksbury; a brother and sister-in-law, Andre and Therese Forest of Dracut; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Sr. Therese Forest SCO of Lowell, Estelle Gendreau of Lowell, Rita Forest of Tyngsboro and Doris and Normand Belley of Tewksbury; five grandchildren, Shawn Marquis of Lowell, Christine Parrington and her husband Keith of Pelham, NH, Eric Marquis of Lowell, Jason Marquis of Tyngsboro and Nicole Roper and her husband James of Dracut; three great grandchildren, Annabelle and Willow Marquis, and Olivia Parrington. She was the mother of the late Gerard Marquis, grandmother of the late Michael Fleury, great grandmother of the late Sydney Richardson-Marquis, and sister of the late Pauline Tousignant and Ernest Forest.
