Gabrielle M. Lafond

Gabrielle M. (Beaulieu) (Delisle) Lafond, 97, of Lowell, died unexpectedly Monday December 20, 2010 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Eugene Lafond and the late Edward Delisle who died in 1960.
Born in Montreal, Canada on July 24, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Bernadette (Sevigny) Beaulieu.
For many years Gabrielle worked for Honeywell Company until her retirement in 1978.
She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Parish (Ste. Therese Church.) She was a member of the Dracut Senior Citizens and Centralville Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Edward J. and Helene Delisle of Dracut, Robert and Judith Delisle of Lowell; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley T. Auger and her husband, Alfred of Pelham, NH; a step son, Roger Lafond and his wife, Josette of Dracut; a step daughter, Claire Gagnon of Dracut; two sisters, Irene M. McMeniman of Lowell, Marie Whittier of Lakeland, FL; 13 grandchildren and their spouses, Edward J. and Mitzi Delisle, Marianne and John Niemszyk, Sandra Delisle, Debora and Ronald Wojnor, Sheila and Steve Cunningham, Gary and Debra Auger, Gayle and David Silvestro, Janet and David Beverage, Alfred and Magaly Auger, Robert Delisle, Raymond Delisle, Karen Delisle and Roy Delisle; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jeanne “Joan” Beaulieu and grandmother of the late Ronald Delisle.
Relatives and friends may call from 3 until 7 PM on Wednesday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 9 AM in Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
