LOWELL - Franklin J. White, 84, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on Saturday morning, June 26, 2021, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary H. (McDonald) White.
Born in Wilmington, MA, on February 26, 1937, he was a son of the late William and Marjorie (Merlin) White.
Franklin was a graduate of Tewksbury High School and served with the Army National Guard.
In his spare time he enjoyed camping and was also a model train enthusiast.
Prior to his retirement he worked as an auto mechanic, mechanical assembler and school bus driver.
He was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut.
Franklin is survived by his Fiancee, Gloria Brooks of Dracut and her family; two sons, Franklin J. White, Jr. and his wife Candice of Woburn, and Christopher H. White and his wife Marsha of Milford, NH; two daughters, Deborah A. Jussaume and her husband Donald of Dracut, and Kimberly S. Barulli and her husband Edward of Tyngsboro; a sister, Suzanne Mackey and her husband Ronald; 14 grandchildren, Dustin White and his fiancé, Chris Ceno, Brandice, Victoria, and Mariah White, Melissa Whale and her husband Chris, Felicia Filomena and her husband Joseph, Christopher H. White, Jr., Stephen Jussaume and his wife Lauren, Matthew Jussaume and his wife Jennie, Thomas Jussaume and his wife Kendra, Laura Winner and her husband Casey, Maria Jussaume, Rebecca and Megan Barulli; 9 great grandchildren, Savannah, Nolan, and Gabrielle Jussaume, Ayden Tanguay, and Conner Jussaume, Ernest and Henry Winner, and Luca and Mila Filomina; also many nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late William, Donald, John Robert, James and Gerald White, Marjorie Delorey and Cynthia Lloyd.
Relatives and friends are invited to Franklin's Life Celebration on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10 AM in St. Francis Church, Dracut. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate donations in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
