Francis J. Ogden

LOWELL - Francis J. Ogden, age 62, a longtime resident of Lowell died Tuesday, April 19, 2018 at Wingate at Belvidere. He was the beloved husband of Debra J. (Winship) Ogden, to whom he has been married for 31 years.

He was born in Lowell on March 20 1956, and was a son of the late Richard H. and Muriel D. Ogden. He received his education in Lowell schools.

Prior to his illness, Francis was employed for 14 years by the former Courier Corporation in Westford.

In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, especially going for long bike rides, walking, and jogging. He also enjoyed going to flea markets, antiquing, and listening to music, especially British Rock. However, his greatest joy came from spending time in the company of his loving family.

In addition to his wife, Francis is survived by his two daughters, Tanya Malvey and her husband James of Plaistow, NH and Jennifer Ogden and her fiancé Robert Riccio of Dracut; his grandson, Nicolas Riccio; his sister Pegann Lyons and her husband Guy of Lowell; a brother, Daniel Ogden and his wife Janice of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. He is also the brother of the late Anthony Ogden.

ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Francis' Life Celebration to be held at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Friday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by his Funeral Service at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell at 11:30 AM.
