ANDOVER - Francis T. "Frank" Mann, Age 78, born and raised in Lowell MA and a longtime resident of Andover MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 20th, 2016 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a short period of declining health. He was the son of the late Francis L. Mann and Alice (Pinard) Mann, both of Lowell. He leaves behind his two sisters, Joan Mann of Andover and Carol Perron of Tewksbury, and his niece, Janet Perron, also of Tewksbury, along with his many friends.

Frank was a graduate of Keith Academy and Merrimack College and worked at Raytheon Company as a mechanical engineer until his retirement. He was an avid sportsman; a member of both the Danvers Fish and Game Club and the Woburn Sportsmen's Association and enjoyed spending time there with friends. He loved fishing and was a New England Sports Fan, especially rooting for the Red Sox and Patriots. He was also an avid reader, interested in spy novels and mysteries. Frank also enjoyed watching movies, especially the classic westerns and action movies. He was a jazz afficionado, a huge fan of Frank Sinatra, Chet Baker, Tony Bennett, and many others. He will be missed by family and friends.
