OBITUARY


Lowell- Francis J "Frank" Elliott, Jr, 73, died Monday, January 3, 2005 at Saints Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Theresa (Gaudette) Elliott to whom he had been married to for 46 years.
Born in Lowell on March 14, 1931, he was a son of the late Francis J Elliott, Sr and Mary Ann (Glynn) Elliott. He was educated in Lowell Schools and began his career as a Lowell Health inspector for 15 years. He later went on to own and operate, along with his wife, Ray's Stateline in Pelham for many years. He retired as a court officer at the Lowell District Court.
Mr. Elliott was a member of the East End Club, the Lowell Lodge of Elks, and the Civil War Preservation Trust. He was a former member of the D'Youville Manor Men's Guild, the Knights of Columbus, the Franco American Choir and the Highland Players. In earlier years, Mr Elliott sang at various churches including Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. He had also been a lector at St. Joseph's Shrine.
Surviving him besides his wife are a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney M and Laurie Elliott of Lowell; four daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa A and Richard Brown of Bedford, NH, Kathleen M. and Oren Havey of Hudson, NH, Sharon F. and Glenn Frederick of Nazareth, PA, Patti-Ann M. and Walter Dwyer of Pepperell, MA; and brother and his wife, William and Hanne Elliott of Lowell; a sister and her husband, Mary and John Leahey of Lowell; 11 grandchildren, David and Jessica Chadwick, Ryan and Cara Brown, Katelyn and Mikayla Elliott, Brittney, Amanda and Taylor Frederick, Quinlan and Colin Dwyer; 3 brothers-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law, Robert and Pauline Gaudette of Salem, NH, Leo and Claire Farrington of Pepperell, Albert and Jeanne Gaudette of Orlando, FL.; Also several nieces and nephews.
