Francis R. "Frank" Dery

June 2, 1943 — December 13, 2021

Francis R. 'Frank" Dery, Sr., 78, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Rosemary E. (Hogan) Dery.
Born in Lowell on June 2, 1943, he was a son of the late Leo E. and May R. (Goulet) Dery.
Frank attended Lowell Schools and served with the Army National Guard.
He retired from Market Basket following over 45 years of dedicated service.
A long time resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, he was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
Frank was an avid hunter participating in the fall tradition with his friends. He especially enjoyed visits to his daughter's beach house in Seabrook, NH, where he spent cherished time with his family.
Frank is survived by four daughters, Ellen McHugh and her partner Alicia Breslin, Maryrose Enzian, and Paula Fryns and her husband Robert, all of Dracut, and Deanna Berard and her husband Robert of Pelham, NH; two sons, Francis R. Dery, Jr. and his wife Dawn (Pelletier) of N. Chelmsford and Michael Desroches and his wife Melissa (Speed) of Lowell; two brothers, Roger Dery and Donald Dery; two sisters, Joan Harrison and Carol Lafontaine; twelve grandchildren, Brendan McHugh, Eric Enzian, Trevor and Owen Fryns, Myranda Hayward and her husband Alden, Tyler and Kaitlyn Dery, Benjamin and Cassidy Berard, Morgan, Matthew and Jack Desroches; two great grandchildren, Kenzi and Alden: brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Marguerite Hogan and Ralph and Judy Hogan; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was predeceased by his son, James E. Dery, and son-in-law, David McHugh.
Relatives and friends are invited to Frank's visitation on Friday morning from 8:30 until 9:15 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10 AM in St. Michael Church. Due to current health restrictions, face coverings are required in the funeral home and church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to: Home Health VNA, 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
