Frances C. Moynihan, a resident of Lowell passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 surrounded by her family following a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 72.
Fran was born in Lowell on July 2, 1949, a daughter of the late Francis T. And Dorothy (Regan) Moynihan. She was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1967.
Prior to her retirement Fran worked in the human resources department of several large corporations in the area, including Apollo and AVID.
She enjoyed knitting and was a member of the Harvard Fiber Loft Knitting Group. Fran also looked forward to traveling with her friends, especially to Ireland. She loved family gatherings and everyone looked forward to her macaroni salad.
Survivors include her sister and brother in law, Gail and Carmen DeAngelis of Medford; her uncle and aunt, James and Sally Moynihan of Lowell; her cousins James P. Moynihan and Jon Lamson of Chelmsford, Kathleen Plath and her husband Scott, Patricia Ryan and her husband Dan, Mary Ferry and her husband David all of Lowell, John Moynihan and his wife Jennifer of Tewksbury, Kevin Moynihan and his wife Dr. Allie Schwartz of Parkland, FL, Mark Regan and his wife Christine of Norwood; and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Fran's Life Celebration at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street from 10:00 until 12:00 on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Her funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
