LOWELL - Frances E. (Burnell) MacLean, 71, a resident of the Christian Hill neighborhood in the Centralville section of Lowell, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at Saints Medical Center. She was the wife of William C. MacLean with whom she shared 35 years of marriage.
Born in Haverhill on February 8, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Milton W. and Eleanor A. (Page) Burnell.
Mrs. MacLean was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Mary C. Fitts and her husband Robert of Lowell; her son, Alfred B. Robillard of Exeter, NH; two sisters, Marlene Rodier and her husband Raymond of Candia, NH and Carol Sulesky of Haverhill; four brothers, Richard Burnell and his wife Betty of Haverhill, Norman Burnell of Lewiston, ME, John Burnell of Groveland and Paul Burnell and his wife Helen of Andover; three grandchildren, William, Bobby and Megan Fitts, all of Lowell; a brother-in-law, Harold MacLean of Portsmouth, NH; also several nieces and nephews.
