Florence A. Betty

OBITUARY
LOWELL - Florence (McGaunn) Betty, 89, a Lowell resident, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Real A. Betty.
Born in Lowell on June 18, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Amanda (Beno) McGaunn.
Mrs. Betty was a member of St. Rita Parish.
She enjoyed reading and cooking for her family.
Mrs. Betty is survived by two daughters, Rita T. LeMay of Lowell and Joan Bergeron and her husband Roger of Chelmsford; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her children, Mrs. Betty raised two of her grandchildren, Daniel Chartier and James Chartier, both of Lowell. She also leaves and son-in-law, Roger Bouchard of Lowell and a daughter-in-law, Donna M. (Courtemanche) Betty of Lowell. She was the mother of the late Shirley Bouchard and Real F. Betty Sr., who just recently died on July 5, 2005. She was also the sister of the late Pauline Savary, Rose Montbleau, Amanda Arpin and William McGaunn.
