Evelyn T. Young

Dracut - Evelyn T. (Blair) Young, 77 wife of Allan E. Young, Jr., a longtime resident of Dracut, died Thursday August 26, at the Saints Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Lowell on January 12, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Yvonne (Bellevance) Blair. She was a graduate of Notre Dame de Lourdes School and a former communicant of St. Francis Church, Dracut. She held membership with the Dracut Senior Citizens Club.
Prior to her retirement, Evelyn had been employed in the operating room as an instrument technician and in the central supply department at Saints Memorial Medical Center.
Surviving her besides her husband are two daughters and sons in law, Nancy and James Antos of New Ipswich, NH and Paula and Roger Hubert of Hudson, NH; four sons and three daughters in law Kevin and Trixie Young of Rowland, NC, Allan III and Maryanne Young of Lowell, Wayne and Debbie Young of Laconia, NH and David Young of FL; also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Marie Blair and Gertrude Altemus.
