Eva C. (Bevins) Crawford, beloved wife of the late Clinton R. Crawford passed away unexpectedly at her Dracut residence on Monday, January 14, 2019. She was 79.
Born in Lowell on July 5, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Cecelia (Goyette) Bevins.
Eva and Clinton were married for 55 years at the time of his death in 2012. Prior to her retirement she was employed as an equipment tester with Western Electric and stayed with them when they changed to Lucent Technologies.
Eva loved to travel especially with her senior clubs. She was active in the Dracut and Lowell Senior Citizen Clubs and organized many bus trips around New England. She also spent countless hours with her friends at the Lowell Senior Center. Most of all Eva was happiest when she was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Rocky and Patti Crawford of Dracut; a granddaughter Kaylie Hulse Crawford and her husband Patrick Hulse of New York; two brothers and sister in law Alfed "Dick" and Aline Bevins, Robert Bevins; two sisters, Shirley Dufresne, Dorothy Carbonneau all of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Bevins, Donald Bevins, Theresa Vezina, Pauline Bisson, and Rita Gustafson.
Relatives and friends are invited to Eva's Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 9 until 11 AM on Saturday. Her Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
