Eugene P. "Gene" Gignac, 75, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Linda M. (Corklin) Gignac, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage.
Gene was born in Montreal, Canada on June 27, 1945, but was raised in Lowell, a son of the late Lena Roy.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for many years at Anton's Cleaners as a driver.
His hobbies included taking in stray animals and working on cars with his son-in-law Brian Clements.
In addition to his wife Linda he leaves three step-daughters, Salina Corklin, Amy Geyer and Shantel Wyman; a brother, Robert Roy; three sisters, Pauline Dixon and her husband Phil, Gert Cohen and Sylvia Gignac; also eight grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Visitation on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 2 until 4 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth St., Lowell.
