NASHUA, NH - Estelle C. (Leblanc) Loiselle, 91, a resident of Nashua, passed away on Saturday evening, March 4, 2017, at a local healthcare facility with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Herve J. Loiselle, Jr., who passed in 2010.
Born in Lowell on October 16, 1925, she was the 14th and last surviving child of the late Pierre and Georgina (Poire) Leblanc.
She was a graduate of Ste. Jeanne d' Arc Grammar School, St. Joseph's High School and in 1946 received a B.A. in Science from Emmanuel College in Boston.
After 6 years working in the dye lab at Mass Mohair Plush, she married Herve J. Loiselle, Jr. and moved to Connecticut where she worked a few years at Wind Tunnel Research at United Aircraft in East Hartford. Along with their 2 children, she worked with Herve at his retirement business, a Sport Shop and Marina at Merrymeeting Lake in New Durham, NH. She returned to Lowell in 1979 and worked for Joan Fabrics, retiring in 1988 from the accounting department.
In retirement, they enjoyed traveling to Europe, especially France, for many years. They moved to Nashua, NH in 2004 and attended St. Kathryn's Church in Hudson, NH.
Estelle leaves a daughter and her husband, Monique and Allen Garrell of Pelham, NH; a son, Pierre Loiselle of Alburg, VT; three grandchildren, Daniel Bishop of Ashford, CT, Kristen Loiselle of Oklahoma and Elizabeth Loiselle of California; a sister-in-law, Sr. Germaine Loiselle, S.N.D of Ipswich MA and many nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Emilien, Annette, Arthur, Roland, Camille, Gerald, Lionel, Henri, Theresa, Paul and Bernadette Leblanc.
