Eric L. Vadney

NASHUA, NH - Eric L. Vadney, age 52, of Nashua, NH died unexpectedly Sunday July 2, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of Stephanie L. (LaRocque) Vadney.

He was born in Winchester on February 16, 1971, and was a son of Mary Ellen E. (McKillop) Vadney of Lowell and the late Raymond L. Vadney.  He was a graduate of Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School in Tyngsboro.  

Eric was employed at Anastasi Electric in Hudson, NH and was bartender at Leda Lanes/Kegler’s Den in Nashua, NH.   

In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes and corn hole, camping and collecting pocket watches.  His greatest joy however, was spending time in the company of his loving family, friends and faithful companions, Lucy, Tank and Harlee.  

Eric will be remembered for always having a smile on his face and his ability to make anyone around him smile. Everyone knew his drink of choice was a Captain and Diet Coke with a whole tray of ice.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his two children, Jake M. Vadney and Jessica B. Vadney, both of Nashua, NH; his two step-children, Samantha Petrow and Melissa Petrow of Methuen; his brother, Daniel Vadney of Lowell; his sister, Cindy Gray and her husband Bryan of Dunlap, TN; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Eric’s Service at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00pm.  His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am at St. Michael Church in Lowell.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eric’s memory to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  For condolences or directions, please visit www.mckennaouellette.com.
