Eric Michaud passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lowell on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. He was 45 years old.
Born in Lowell on June 24, 1974, he was the beloved son of the late Roland Michaud and Helen (Cady) Michaud. Eric was raised in Lowell and attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH. He went on to work in various fields over the years, including stage crew set up where he enjoyed many excellent concerts while making friends and memories along the way.
The greatest joy of Eric's life was his son Lyric, with whom he shared his love for music and art. Father and son could often be found together in Lowell enjoying the music and camaraderie of a local band, or back home with their many instruments writing and playing their own original music. Eric was so proud of his son and it showed each time he watched Lyric on-stage during his theater, musical, or incredible acrobatic circus performances.
Eric is survived by his mother Helen Michaud of Lowell, his son Lyric Michaud of Wilton, NH, brother Joseph Michaud and his wife Suzanne of Lowell, sister Joanne Fagan and her husband Edward of Dracut, nephews Joseph Michaud and his wife Sondra, Adam Michaud and his wife Jill, Matthew Michaud, and Evan Fagan, niece Julianna Fagan, four great nieces, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be truly missed by his family and many special friends.
"May your song always be sung…" Peace
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Eric's Memorial Funeral Mass at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 374 Stevens St., Lowell, on Saturday, January 25th, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
