Emily R. (Peck) Kurkjian

DELTONA, FL – Emily R. (Peck) Kurkjian, 79, of Deltona, FL, widow of John G. Kurkjian, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Halifax Health Port Orange Care Center following a period of declining health. She was formerly of Chelmsford and Newton.
Born in Wilmington on March 27, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Eldon and Lillian (Melanson) Peck.
While residing locally, Mrs. Kurkjian volunteered for the St. Michael School hot lunch program.
She leaves two sons, Peter J. Kurkjian and life partner John MacFarlane of Deltona, FL and David E. Kurkjian and his wife Katie of Loudon, NH; two daughters, Ann M. Rodrigues and her husband Charles of Saugus and Deborah A. Driscoll and her husband John of Deltona, FL; a brother, Robert Peck of Billerica; two sisters, Barbara Sampson of Haverhill and Virginia Pupa of Wilmington; six grandchildren, Christine Green and John White, Christopher, Joseph and Nicole Driscoll and Olivia Kurkjian; two great grandchildren, Madison Green and Benjamin Driscoll; also several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Carol Newhouse, Roberta Ziegler, Richard and Francis Peck.
