Emile A. Arpin

Lowell - Emile A. Arpin, beloved husband of Theresa J. (Doucette) Arpin, a resident of the Centralville Section of Lowell, died Monday January 4, 2010 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center following a period of declining health. He was 81.
Born in Lowell on March 27, 1928, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Amanda (McGaunn) Arpin.
Prior to his retirement Emile was employed at Fletcher's Quarry in Westford for 43 years.
He was a member of the former St. Louis de France Parish, and was a member of the former Sacred Heart Guard Drill Team.
Surviving him besides his wife are three daughters, Lorraine M. Arpin, Doris A. Pauling and her husband Donald, Ann M. Arpin, all of Lowell; two sons, Donald H. Arpin and his wife Kimberly of Billerica, Albert Arpin and his wife Susan of Lowell; two sisters Pauline Betty of Hudson, NH, Irene O'Reilly and her husband James of Tewksbury; a brother, Robert Arpin and his wife Marge of Hillsborough, NH; and several brothers in law and sisters in law; seven grandchildren Jennifer Cloutier and her husband Raymond, Melissa Faneuf and her husband Michael, Nicholas Pauling and his wife Jillian, Jason Arpin, Justin Arpin, Todd Arpin, Christina Arpin; three stepgrandchildren, Shane, Raschelle, Ashley; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Henry, William, and Armand Arpin.
Emile's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff members of Willow Manor for their compassionate care while Emile was a resident there.
