Ellen M. Thuillier

Ellen M.(Webster) Thuillier, age 91, formally of Lowell died Wednesday, November 25th at a local nursing home.

She was the wife of Raymond W. Thuillier who preceeded her in death on December 31, 1997.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 24, 1918, daughter of the late Edward and Isabelle (Morrice) Webster.
She met her husband at a Coast Guard dance and moved to his hometown of Lowell after they married in December, 1943.

Mrs. Thuillier retired from Mega Pulse, Bedford, She also worked for many years at Honeywell, Lowell.

She was very active at the Centralville United Methodist Church where she held the office of secretary for several years. Along with her husband, she was involved with several senior organizations in the Lowell and Chelmsford area and was a past president of the Town Travelers Square Dance Club of Lowell.

Ellen is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ralph and Patricia Thuillier of Odenton, Maryland, Roger Thuillier of Lowell and Richard Thuillier of Dracut; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Jeannette and James Chamberlain, of Dracut, Vivian and Norbert Guimond of Phoenix, Arizona, Dolores and Robert Harding of Nashua, NH, Andrea and Vital Silva, and Roberta Elliott of Lowell.

She is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Gary (and Alina) Chamberlain, Wendy (and Paul) DeLuca, Ryan (and Kelly)Thuillier, Ross Thuillier, Gregory (and Amy) Guimond, Bethany (and Chris) Kouba, Laurence Harding, Patricia Harding, Sarah (and Sean) Lebel, Rachel Thuillier, Kara Silva and Kaitlyn Silva as well as ten great-grandchildren, James & Emily Chamberlain, Owen, Colin and Sophia DeLuca, Elizabeth and Raymond Thuillier, Emily "Addy" Laffey, Justin Harding, and Jaelyn Lebel.

Also surviving her are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lillie Koch of Berlin, NJ and Edna and Tom Gill of Inverness, Florida and two brothers-in law and their wives, Kenneth and Dorothy Thuillier of Methuen and G. Melvin and June Thuillier of Wilmington.

She was also the grandmother of the late Kay (Chamberlain) LaFlamme, great-grandmother of the late Matthew and Nicholas DeLuca and sister-in-law of the late John Koch and Doris Thuillier.
