Elizabeth E. Musto

Elizabeth E. Musto, known as Liza to her family and friends passed peacefully on October 21, 2024 after a long illness. Growing up Liza and her siblings spent many summers in Kentucky, visiting her grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Liza was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1976. She later joined the US Air Force working as a lab technician and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. She was stationed in Florida and Aviano, Italy. After nine years of service, she attended Merrimack Community College, graduating with an associate degree as a Registered Nurse. Liza retired as a Charge Nurse from Yale Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut.

She was a very special Aunt to her many nieces and nephews, often referred to as their Fairy God Mother. Fulfilling many of their wishes, with or without their parents’ consent.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia A. Musto, her siblings and their spouses, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her father, Paul E. Musto, her niece, Wendi and nephew, Devon.

A Memorial Mass will be held at the St. Joseph the Worker Shrine, 37 Lee Street, Lowell on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 10 AM. Private services to follow.
