Eleanora "Lil" (Janeczko) Lovering, formerly of Dracut, died peacefully November 13, 2022, at the Westford House in Westford, Massachusetts, at the glorious age of 105. She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Frank and Antonina (Gawel) Janeczko.
Eleanora attended the Dracut school system, and worked many years at Bachmann’s Food and Catering in Lawrence, MA. She met her husband of 67 years as a young woman working at the Educator Biscuit Company in Lowell.
Eleanora was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell for many years and was sure to say her rosary daily. Her faith was enduring as God’s love. She was a proud homemaker and a remarkable cook, who enjoyed baking for family and friends, especially the annual Janeczko Family Christmas parties. She held fond memories of many trips to the New Hampshire mountains in her earlier years vacationing with her husband, sons and many of her sisters. She was also an avid Red Sox fan.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Arnold F. (“Ben”) Lovering and devoted sons Arnold J. Lovering and Roy F. Lovering, she is survived by two daughter-in-laws, Brenda J. (Corcoran) Lovering of Chelmsford, MA, and Susan K. (Harrington) Lovering of Nashua, NH; six grandchildren, Arnold F. Lovering, Kimberly A. Lovering, Kara E. (Lovering) Letourneau and husband Larry, John C. Lovering, Chelsea A. (Lovering) Mason and husband Michael, and Roy J. Lovering; three great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Liette Letourneau and Sarah Anne Mason, and many nieces, nephews and members of her extended family.
Eleanora was the sister of the late Victoria Janeczko, Adam Janeczko, Nellie Koczarski, Alexander Janeczko, Rita Szczypinski, Bertha Kosik, Helen Pater, Francis Creegan, Lottie Szledziewski, Olga Dziura and Mary Szafran. May she be blessed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Eleanora’s Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Friday from 9:15 until 10:15am followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00am at St. Michael Church in Lowell. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanora’s memory to St. Michael Church, 12 6th Street, Lowell, MA 01850.
