DRACUT - Mrs. Eleanor M. (Nichols) McAfee, 83, a lifelong resident of Dracut, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Thomas D. McAfee.
Born in Lowell on August 5, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Louis Henry and Alice M. (O'Keefe) Nichols.
Mrs. McAfee attended local schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. She was a long time communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Church, Dracut.
Mrs. McAfee's hobby was the History of Lowell and she loved to read anything pertaining to it.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Robert Talbot of Dracut; a sister, Claudia Perreault of Lowell; three grandchildren, Kenneth Hamilton of Everett, April Hamilton of Dracut and Tara Hamilton of Hudson, MA; a sister-in-law, Martha Nichols of Tyngsboro; also several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Susan Willey and sister of the late Raymond H. Nichols.
