Chelmsford - Eleanor J. Boucher, 73, a native of Chelmsford, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Lowell General Hospital following a period of declining health. She was the former wife of Normand J. "Mickey" Boucher.
Born in Chelmsford, on March 23, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Kendall S. and Elsie M.(Ayotte) Parlee.
Eleanor was raised by her mother Elsie and her late adoptive father, Leo Auger.
She had a passion for food, and loved to cook and grow vegetables in her garden.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a bus driver with the Chelmsford Council on Aging.
She leaves her beloved dog, Boo Boo, three children, Tammie J. Packard of Lowell, Thomas Boucher and his wife Donna of Chelmsford, and Timothy Boucher and his wife Deborah of Tyngsboro; four sisters, Gloria Southwick and her husband John of Asheville, NC, Carol Smith and her husband Arthur of Littleton, Doria Boyle and her husband Scott of Middlebury, VT and Lea Chapin of Bushnell, FL; four brothers, Roy Auger of Greenville, NH, Dennis Auger and his wife Rosa of Ayer, Roger Auger of Tallahassee, FL and Ronald Auger and his wife Tina of San Antonio, TX; a brother in law, Kevin Caterino of Townsend; four grandchildren, Jonathan Packard of Palmetto, FL, Joshua Packard and his wife Jessica of Simi Valley, CA, Samantha and Jessica Boucher, both of Chelmsford; three great grandchildren, Brandon and Reilynn Packard, both of Palmetto, FL and Anthony Boucher of Chelmsford; an aunt, Gloria Ayotte and her husband Eddie of Pepperell. She was a sister of the late June Caterino and Barry Auger.
