Elaine C. (Chandonnet) Johnson

Elaine C. (Chandonnet) Johnson, 59, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Richard W. Johnson with whom she shared 41 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on September 8, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. and Patricia A. (Surprenant) Chandonnet.
Prior to her retirement, Elaine worked as a quality control engineer for Microsemi.
Mrs. Johnson enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross stitch and playing cards.
Paramount to Elaine was her family and she spent much of her time as the caregiver for her mother-in-law as well as her own family. She will be missed greatly by her children and grandchildren.
She leaves three children, Anne-Marie Lapointe of Dracut, Christopher Johnson of Woburn and Stacy Davenport and her husband James of Tyngsborough; a brother, Roger Chandonnet and his wife Susan of Amesbury; ten grandchildren, Damon and Jordyn Lapointe, Owen St. Louis, Hannah Landry, Brady, Dominic and David John Johnson, Kotasone Nomichith, Jr., Sera and Zachary Davenport.
She was the sister of the late Russell Chandonnet.
