Eileen M. Shea

Eileen M. Shea, age 60, a longtime resident of Lowell died Friday, March 10, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital following a long illness.  

She was born in Lowell on April 30, 1962, and was a daughter of the late Cornelius J. and Eileen M. Shea.  She received her early education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School in Tyngsboro.  

Eileen enjoyed doing arts and crafts, listening to music and dancing.  In her early years was a talented Irish step dancer. 

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie A. Carlson and her husband Richard of Lowell; her son, Ronald R. Quintal, Jr. and his wife Valerie of Castaic, CA; four grandchildren, Madison Carlson, Mila Carlson, Rune Quintal and Alexis Quintal; four sisters, Joanne Shea of Nashua, NH, Mary Ann Donoghue of Weare, NH, Anne Marie Persampieri and her husband Paul of Alton, NH and Karen Collinsworth and her husband Brett of New Hampshire; three brothers, Cornelius “Joseph” Shea, Jr. and his wife Karen of Milford, NH, Walter Shea of Chelmsford and Robert Shea and his wife Kathy of Derry, NH; and many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Eileen’s Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00pm.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 at St. Michael Church, 12 6th St, Lowell.  PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen’s memory to the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association (RSDSA), PO Box 502, Milford, CT 06460 or at https://rsds.org/donate/.
