Eileen T. (Sherry) McDonough

Eileen T. (Sherry) McDonough, 93, a resident of Dracut, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter G. McDonough, Sr.
Born in Lowell on June 30, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Katherine (Freeman) Sherry.
Mrs. McDonough was a graduate of Lowell High School and a communicant of St. Michael Church.
Eileen is survived by her four sons, Thomas J. McDonough and his wife Deborah A. Burkholder of Methuen, Patrick W. McDonough and his wife Mary Ellen of McLean, VA, Emmett E. McDonough and his wife Dana of Newburgh, NY, and Walter G. McDonough, Jr. of Rockville, MD; her daughter, Mary Louise Lagasse and her husband James W. of Dracut; her nine grandchildren, Allison Barbot (McDonough) Blaisdell and her husband Timothy, Megan Eileen McDonough and her husband Diego Saez-Gil, Brendan Michael McDonough, Jennifer-Leigh McDonough, Kerri-Ann (McDonough) Wein and her husband Richard, Katherine Anne McDonough, Bradley J. Lagasse, Shaina M. Lagasse and Jessica L. Lagasse; her twin great granddaughters, Natalie Barbot Blaisdell and Caroline Annette Blaisdell. She was a sister of the late Mary Smith.
