It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Eileen (Henry) (Surprenant) Deveaux on September 24, 2021. After 83 years, her journey here on earth has come to a completion, but now has joined back together with her soulmate of 27 years, Louis J. "Louie" Deveaux.
She was born in Lawrence on July 14, 1938, but was a lifelong resident of Lowell. She was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Blanche (Lavallee) Henry.
Eileen spent most of her life tending to the needs of her home and her family, who were the pride of her life.
She enjoyed cooking, decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas, which she loved the most, doing crafts with flowers, ribbons and butterflies, and watching television, especially The Hallmark Channel and Days of our Lives. She also enjoyed dancing, playing computer games, shopping, and all things angels. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family.
Eileen, who was affectionately known by many as "mom", will be greatly missed and never forgotten by all those that knew her.
She is survived by four children, Kevin Klier and his wife Janice Russo-Klier, Kim (Surprenant) Brown and her husband Kevin, Karen (Surprenant) Walsh and Tim Walsh, and Krystal Deveaux; her daughter-in-law, Denise (Deschenes) Klier; eleven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her loving son Kenneth "Kenny" Klier.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Eileen's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Friday from 4:00 until 7:30pm followed by her Funeral Service at 7:30pm at the funeral home.
