DRACUT - Edward H. Zannoni, Sr., age 69, a resident of Dracut died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Lowell on February 5, 1952, and was a son of the late Paul and Katherine (Golden) Zannoni. He was a graduate of Lowell Trade School.
Prior to his retirement Edward was employed for over 30 years as a mechanic for the City of Lowell.
He will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need.
Edward was a longtime member of the East End Club in Lowell.
In his free time he enjoyed fishing, building models, and his Sunday morning drives in his truck, listening to the blues. His greatest joy however, was spending time in the company of his loving family.
Edward is survived by his son, Edward H. Zannoni, Jr. and is wife Kerry of Dracut; his daughter, Deana A. Faucher of Dover, NH; his five grandchildren, Zak Zannoni of Dracut, Bryanna Allison of Dracut, Scott Gleason and his wife Julia of Somersworth, NH, Steven Gleason of Dover, NH, and Skyler Faucher of Rochester, NH; his great granddaughter, Zoey Gleason; his three brothers, Paul "Mike" Zannoni and his wife Judith of Lowell, Dennis Zannoni and his wife Fran of Dunstable, and Bernard Zannoni of Dracut; a sister, Lisa Malcuit and her husband Arthur of Dracut; a brother-in-law, Richard Toupin of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews, including his niece, Dawn Cooper and her husband John of Dracut.
He was also the brother of the late Sharon Close and her husband Ronald Close and Kathleen Toupin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Edward's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Saturday, September 18th from 12 Noon until 2:00pm. A private burial will take place at a later date in St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell.
