Twentynine Palms, CA - Edward C. Vallerand, 75, a resident of Twentynine Palms, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, following a period of declining health.
Born in Lowell, on April 24, 1946, he was a son of the late Edward and Blanche (Murtagh) Vallerand.
He attended Lowell Schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1963.
Ed served with the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam war and retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. Following his military career he went to work as an electrical engineer - project manager for several companies, retiring from Northrop Grumman Corp.
He is survived by three siblings, Joyce Joslin of Grandview, TX, Bonnie Mercier of Lynn, MA and Roger Vallerand of Oak Lawn, IL. He also leaves a nephew, Sean Moriarty and his wife Patty of Millbury, MA.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Ed's Committal Services on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 12:00 PM in St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford, MA.
