Mr. Edward J. Tighe, age 78, of Lowell, passed away suddenly on September 20, 2011.
He was born in Lowell on March 29, 1933, the eldest son of Edward James Tighe and Alice Regina ( Beaudry ) Tighe.
He was in the Navy and served during the Korean War.
He is survived by his 4 children, Tammy Szyszlo and her husband, John of Pelham, Tracie Carbonneau of Lowell, Daniel Tighe and his wife, Mary ( Mahaney ) Tighe of Nashua, NH and Patricia Perry and her husband, Robert of Lowell; 2 sisters, Alice Krysiak of Lowell, Carole McInerney of Tyngsboro; a brother, Paul Tighe of California; 5 Grandsons and 3 Granddaughters as well as nieces and nephews.
He was also previously married to the late Carolyn ( Martyn ) Tighe.
