Edward F. "Bud" Mullen, 78, of New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Rita (Green) Mullen, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell, on March 23, 1943, he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Greene) Mullen. He graduated from the Lowell Trade High School and then proudly served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After his service he went on to work for B&M Railroad and continued his career there as it became Amtrak until retiring in 2003.
Bud loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on his race cars and spending many weekends at the track drag racing, hunting, fishing and archery. He was a lifetime member of the Tyngsboro Sportsmen Club.
Along with his wife he is survived by his daughter Kristine (Mullen) Pelletier and her husband Timothy Pelletier, his sons John Mullen and his wife Rebecca (Reech) Mullen and Robert Barnaby, his brothers Michael Mullen and his wife Donna (Fowler) Mullen, Joseph Mullen and his wife Betty Mullen, his brother-in-law Hans Beil, his sisters in law Joan (Green) Potenius, Nancy (Green) Lesofsky and her husband Richard Lesofsky and his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Marianne (Mullen) Beil and bother in law of the late Richard Potenius.
