Edward E. Michelin

DRACUT - Edward E. Michelin, 88, a resident of Dracut, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Marie Rose Jeannette (Santerre) Michelin, to whom he was married for 64 years, married on August 2, 1952.
Born in Lowell on June 10, 1928, he was a son of the late Joseph P. and Marie Louise (Plouffe) Michelin.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the former St. Joseph Hospital as a security officer.
He was a member of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
In addition to his wife he leaves two step-daughters-in-law, Jean Foley of Attleboro and Gloria Foley of NV; a sister, Rita Bishop of Lowell; his Godson, James Bishop of Lowell; many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, step great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends. He was the step-father of the late John and Charles Robert Foley, brother of the late Adolph, Joseph and Louise Michelin and Florence Nickel.
